One of the most popping Milwaukee tracks of the last two years is AyooLii’s “Skatepark,” a posse cut with a whole cadre of guest verses: Renzo, Maz G, Judah, Ad Huncho, and, finally, Samson2Slapped, whose new project SAMSON2SLAPPED THE ALBUM is out now. The FearDorian-produced track for “Skatepark” is in that territory between jerk music and a Milwaukee-type beat, and everyone’s autotune-drenched vocals go crazy. It’s a track that makes you realize how deep the city’s sound goes and how much fun the musicians seem to be having.

When you peep Samson2Slapped’s IG @bigtimelarry414, you’ll notice that, besides that 414 repping Milwaukee in his handle, bro is about that skate life. It makes perfect sense. Samson2Slapped’s rapping is a lot like skating. In the same way one would perfect their kickflip or nollie, Samson works on his punch-ins, his presets, and how he flexes AMGs and X classes. Which brings us back to SAMSON2SLAPPED THE ALBUM, a real heater of a project. It’s music for fire bitties, serving headies, and all the other Milwaukee slang you can think of. Geek up, turn up. Samson2Slapped is up.
